Art Gallery

We’re aware that there are quite a large number of artists in the churches we serve, so we’d like to offer you the opportunity to showcase your work. Dependant on space and the number of people wanting to bring work, we would like to offer you the opportunity to show a limited number of works. The sort of work displayed could include: paintings, pottery, sculpture, photography or any other work you do.

We are still finalising the details for our gallery but if you would like to register your interest please email to art@devotedevent.org with a photo of the work or style of work you want to exhibit.

Further details *

  • We won’t be able to display art that has NOT been booked in prior to the event
  • The event does not take any responsibility for the work, and displaying is at your own risk
  • You MUST tell us if there are particular issues/requirements for display prior to the event
  • The management DO reserve the right to decline work based on ethical or moral grounds
  • The Hub is only open at certain times each day (TBC) - there may be a seminar in the Hub each afternoon, but no selling will be allowed during this time.
  • The Hub will be locked overnight each day
  • You must remove your work by 1300 on Monday
  • *These details may be subject to change as the event approaches.

Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.

Arts & Craft Stalls

We are also aware that large numbers of people create arts and crafts for sale at markets and other outlets. This might be cards, knitwear or any other of the innumerable arts and crafts. We will have a number of tables available to sell such arts and crafts, and we are offering up to 30 tables on a first come first served basis and/or the basis of creating variety in the area (we want to ensure there is variety in what is on sale).

What you need to know

  • You must book at art@devotedevent.org and include a photo of the style of work you do as well as a description of what you do
  • We have 30 spaces only – once we have allocated the 30 places, we will not open up more
  • There will be no charge for the space once again this year
  • We will provide a table and 2 chairs – there won’t be access to electricity
  • The management DO reserve the right to decline work based on ethical or moral grounds
  • The Hub is open from 1300 – 1900 and 2130 to 2200 each day. We will not provide security during the day, but you may close your stand for periods if you wish.
  • The Hub will be locked overnight each day
  • You must remove your work by 1300 on Monday

Art is not a handicraft, it is the transmission of feelings the artist has experienced.
