Camping at Devoted takes place in church groups. When you book, you will be asked to select the church that you would like to camp with. If your church is not listed, you can add it so that others from your church can join you on the church site.
If you are a server, once you have booked into the event under your church name, you will then be given the choice to camp with your church or on the servers' site.
When you book to camp on site you will be asked to specify the size of your camping unit, e.g. tent, caravan or campervan.
Each church nominates a church coordinator who will allocate pitches on the church site and ensure that the sites Health & Safety regulations are followed. It is the church’s responsibility to make sure you leave the site clean and tidy, as it was when you arrived please.
Marquees - (booked by 30th June)
Church coordinators will be given the option to book a site for a marquee. These must be booked and paid for by 30th June. All churches wishing to bring a marquee will need to provide us with a copy of their own Public Liability Insurance. The procedure for this is on the marquee bookings page of the bookings website. Once a church has confirmed with us the name of their church co-ordinator, the co-ordinator will be able to add a marquee site to their booking and pay for it.
Electric Hook-ups - (booked by 30th June)
Electric hook-up is available for churches to pre-order and pay for. This is for use within marquees only and must also be booked and paid for by 30th June.
To be clear electric hook-ups are not available for individuals to book. However, you may be fortunate to find yourself located on site near to a hook up. If you are be thankful in all things! But be aware that if you do hook up, we will come and ask you to pay £20 for the weekend. (Unfortunately, we get charged for the electricity we use, and are simply passing on the cost.)
If you have a medical need that requires access to electricity, please contact us when you book. (If you do have a medical need or additional accessibility requirements please click here for further details and to get in touch with our accessibility team.)
We do not allow:
- BBQs on the camping areas - however, there will be an allocated area at the showground where BBQs are permitted (see handbook for details)
- Open fires
- Bicycles (except for server team permitted cycles)
- Skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters etc.
- Animals of any sort, size or shape (except Assistance Dogs where needed)
- U18s camping without adult supervision
- Gas or electricity driven generators
Please note that from the 1st August we cannot guarantee that new bookings will be placed with their church. Please check with your church coordinator to confirm space on your site. If we can’t accommodate you with your church, don’t worry – we will be able to organise camping space for you elsewhere onsite and where space allows, we will try our best to make this as close as possible to the rest of your church.
