Devoted 2021

God has been speaking to us recently about fruitfulness and harvest. In the natural sense, “unusual conditions produce an unusual harvest.” We have seen that in the UK with bumper crops of autumn fruit, and we have also seen it in a spiritual sense. For example, our offerings this year for the Covid-19 appeal and then in the autumn, the ChristCentral Sunday, raised far more than we have ever raised in any appeals before! An unusual harvest! Our Devoted Online this summer reached far more people than we have ever been able to with a physical event. An unusual harvest!

As we look forward into 2021, God is speaking to us about continuing to act with eyes of faith; we don’t walk by sight, but we walk by faith. In the light of this, we have decided as an apostolic team to again hold Devoted online only in 2021. And what’s more, we want to expand it and have more meetings, more opportunities for interaction in worship and more content for children and young people. We believe that this will enable us to serve a much larger number of people than purely a physical event.

Our teams have looked at the possibility of providing a physical Covid-secure Devoted event in 2021, and have come to the conclusion that it would be a huge financial commitment, well in excess of what we are already committed to.

Therefore, whilst it has been a difficult decision not to hold Devoted as a physical event in 2021, we do believe it is a decision made in faith, for greater fruitfulness. Devoted 2021 will be online. We are still hoping to be able to hold Devoted as a physical event in 2022. If you are had already booked in for Devoted 2021, or indeed 2020, you may now have some questions! What’s next, what are your options?

Your options if you’ve already booked into Devoted 2021

1) Do nothing and your tickets will be valid for 2022.
2) Convert your booking to a gift to ChristCentral Churches
3) Request a refund

1) Do nothing and your tickets will be valid for 2022.

If you had already booked into Devoted 2021, or perhaps Devoted 2020, if you do nothing, your tickets will still be valid for 2022. If you booked in a young person who will be 19 by Devoted 2022, we will change their booking to an adult ticket free of charge – there will be no extra to pay! We're very pleased to announce that Mike Pilavachi has been confirmed as one of our guest speakers in 2022.

2) Convert your booking to a gift to ChristCentral Churches –  click here

If you have already booked for Devoted 2020 or Devoted 2021 and you do not want to keep your booking for 2022, you are able to change your booking to become a gift to ChristCentral Churches. If you are a UK taxpayer, HMRC are allowing these change of event bookings to be Gift Aidable in this tax year only. Please bear in mind, if you do this, you will not be booked into Devoted 2022. To convert your booking into a gift please  click here.

3) Request a refund –  click here

If you have booked in to Devoted 2020 or Devoted 2021 and would like to request a refund of your booking, this is of course, absolutely fine. Obviously, you will therefore not be booked in to Devoted 2022. Please note, due to the work involved in processing refunds and a largely volunteer based team, we will not be able to issue refunds before early 2021. If you have a question which is not answered above, please email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
