First Time at Devoted? Here's What You Need to Know
In just over a week, we’ll gather as ChristCentral churches—a family of over 300 churches from many nations—to celebrate what God is doing in our communities. It will be four packed days of worship, teaching, sharing, and fun. With a full programme for all ages, there’s plenty to get involved in. Here’s how to make the most of it!
Come Prepared
If you are staying on-site being well-prepared will make all the difference to your festival experience. Be ready for any weather and ensure you have the essentials before heading to the Staffordshire Showground. You can find our checklist here.
Plan Your Day
To make the most of each day, check the schedule and plan your activities. Join us first thing for 'Tea & Toast' if your under 5s wake early, or at our morning prayer gatherings. Alternatively you can grab a coffee and browse the bookshop; or on Saturday morning join the 5k. Be sure to arrive in good time for the main meetings so you can get a good seat. Parents, please do ensure your children are checked in promptly and collected on time...
During the afternoon, why not take in a seminar or a special interest reception, head over to The Hub for details of what's on or take part in the Sports in the main ring. Don't miss the art & craft gallery and all the other Festival activities.
Fun and After Hours
There’s plenty of fun things to do in The Hub and the Youth Cafe, which will be open for you to relax and chat with friends, old and new.
After evening worship and teaching sessions, the fun continues with after-hours events like a silent disco, live music, a quiz, and much more. Don’t miss out!
Come with Expectation
Finally please do join us in praying for the event and come expectant for God to move amongst us as a family of churches. Be open to hearing from God through His word and being used by Him to encourage others. Devoted is a time of being 'friends enjoying God together' and so do spend time deepening connections, building friendships and having fun. If you see one of our volunteers, encourage them & offer to pray for them! Finally take some time if you can, to reflect on all that God has been saying to us both before, during and after the event. We pray that the impact of what God does amongst us during this weekend will be felt for many years to come!
You can still book into Devoted via the website: devotedevent.org and tickets will also be available at the gate.
Please note that as of 01/08/2025 we cannot guarantee that you will be able to camp with your local church as the sites have now been allocated. However we will allocate you space with an alternative church or on the 'non-church' site where there is plenty of space. Please don't let that put you off - may be God will use it to give you the opportunity for you to be a blessing to another church!
